He began his professional journey as a mechanical engineer, then spent several years as a commodity options trader—naturally the next logical step before becoming a board-certified veterinary surgeon. This unconventional path reflects a curiosity-driven mindset and a broad skill set that now fuel his approach to transforming veterinary care.
After years of working in and leading multiple veterinary practices, Dr. Filipowicz found himself frustrated with the inefficiencies and barriers in the field. But where others see problems, he sees opportunities for innovation. Alongside the team at Elevated Veterinary Surgery, he is creating solutions that enhance the quality of advanced care for pets and simplify the process for their owners, making the veterinary experience more like it should be.
